Learn Why the Internet Loves Cats So Much at the Archives of American Art

The Archives of American Art has a new exhibit that reminds viewers that cats have been lazing around, being their fabulous selves, for centuries before the internet became obsessed with them.

Before Internet Cats: Feline Finds from the Archives of American Art is a charming display at the Smithsonian American Art Museum featuring pieces created between the 19th and early 21st centuries, revealing sketches, illustrations, and photographs of cats. Free to the public, it reminds viewers why artists like Pablo Picasso were as obsessed with cats as you are!

At Communities at Arbor Vista Apartments in Adelphi, Maryland, we pride ourselves on informing our residents about all the upcoming events our beautiful community has to offer. Don’t hesitate to visit this exhibit on Saturday!
