Adelphi: Live and Grow With Us
Adelphi is an unincorporated area in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The area includes the communities of Adelphi Hills, Buck Lodge, Chatham, Cool Springs Terrace, and White Oak Manor. Adelphi has a modest population of 15,000 residents, making it a great area to settle down and grow with your family. The unincorporated Adelphi community takes its name from the historic Adelphi Mill and was established in 1876 along the Northwest Branch of the Anacostia River. Now, Adelphi is home to the University of Maryland University College and is located near the University of Maryland’s main campus in College Park. As far as entertainment goes, the community is adjacent to the Langley Park shopping center and is within a few miles of the regional Mall at Prince Georges. Additional shopping (and dining!) opportunities are available along Unversity Boulevard at Adelphi Shopping Center and Riggs Road at Metzerott Plaza. Despite its small size, Adelphi offers many exciting activities to its residents.
